Ian started his tax career in 2011 at DSH in Kent, earning his ATT qualification. He moved to Top 20 firm Crowe Clark Whitehill where he was responsible for corporate tax (including R&D tax credits) and transaction support for AIM-listed companies. Ian qualified as a chartered tax adviser during this time. He won the Gilbert Burr Medal for scoring the highest mark in the country in his Taxation of Owner Managed Businesses paper. Joining ForrestBrown in 2017, Ian is part of our tax team advising businesses on R&D tax credits.
