We're delighted to welcome Ben Goad to our fast growing R&D tax team in Bristol.

Ben joins us as Senior Tax Manager, having previously worked for Marcussen Consulting in Bath where he specialised in advising entrepreneurs and their fast growing businesses on compliance issues and reducing their overall tax liabilities.  He managed a portfolio of corporate clients, advising on tax planning and helping to recover R&D expenditure for a variety of innovative businesses across the region. Ben is a Chartered Tax Adviser, and read Politics and International Relations at Reading University, before joining the tax team at PKF Accountants, which is now part of BDO.  From there he joined Bentley Jennison, which later became part of Baker Tilly.

After a couple of weeks getting stuck in at our Clifton offices, Ben has already submitted a number of R&D claims : “I am really excited to be joining ForrestBrown and bringing some of my broad taxation experience to the team. It’s fantastic to be back in Bristol. And I’m relishing the opportunity to work with such innovative, creative companies and helping them to grow.

Managing Director Simon Brown comments “I am pleased to extend a warm welcome to Ben. He will be a great fit with the ethos of ForrestBrown. The pace of growth in the company has been swift and Ben’s expertise will help us to maintain the outstanding level of service we deliver to our ever expanding client base.”
