Starting out in Salisbury, Matthew worked for Smith & Williamson and then Fawcetts where he started studying for his ATT qualification. During these years he helped clients with personal tax for individuals, trusts and estates; and the taxation of inheritance and capital gains. He joined ForrestBrown in 2020 and looks after a portfolio of mainly software clients. They use the government’s R&D tax credit incentives to support the cutting-edge aspects of their work.
