ForrestBrown are recruiting bright professionals towards the beginning of their tax career, who want to develop a specialism in the R&D tax industry. We have put in place a dedicated training programme that combines practical education through our Learning Lab, and honing of technical expertise with support in gaining the CTA qualification.

Our latest recruits embarking on this training programme are Daniel Middleton who joins as a tax consultant, and Rebecca Fry as a tax associate. Daniel has already achieved the ATT qualification and previously worked at the global mobility team of EY. Rebecca has past experience at Coutts Bank, but having graduated with a first in Accountancy and Finance from Essex University was keen to pursue a career in tax.

ForrestBrown offers that tax career, but with a twist. By definition, our clients are innovators – they all conduct research and development. And so the casework that our tax team handle is, more often than not, fascinating, cutting-edge stuff. Add to that our culture, which is modelled on the fresh vibe of the digital media sector, and you have a great place to work.

Looking after our partners

Also joining us this autumn is Ryan Davy. Ryan takes on the new role of partnership manager. He will be responsible for being the lead contact for individuals and organisations that we work with to deliver our R&D expertise to end clients. Previously, Ryan worked for OVO Energy where he established his pedigree in customer service experience. We look forward to his application of this to help our partners at ForrestBrown.

Want a career at the exciting end of tax?

We recently celebrated our third birthday where it was observed that we have gone from three to thirty-three staff in those three years. We have ambitious growth plans so whether you are just starting out in tax, or have years of experience, if you are interested in joining the ForrestBrown team, drop us a line.
