After an incredibly busy year we’re delighted to have further bolstered our management team, as Alex Price joins us from PwC as Director.

Alex is a seasoned tax specialist with 16 years of experience at Big 4 firms including Deloitte and KPMG in London, and most recently a nine year stint at PwC in our native Bristol.

At PwC Alex worked across a wide range of tax areas, leading a 14 strong team in delivering advice to companies relocating staff to and from the UK. With this background, his insight into team formation, development and performance will be invaluable in helping our growing team to deliver the best service to our clients.

Alex foresees splitting his time approximately 50-50 between working on claim narratives and being out on the frontline building relationships with new and existing clients. He is looking forward to working with the innovative and dynamic companies that we’re proud to count amongst our clients, and their often inspirational leaders.

Much of Alex’s spare time is filled with entertaining his three young children. A shared love of cycling means the family can take advantage of Bristol’s location, to get out on the bikes in the stunning and diverse countryside that surrounds the city.

Alex is also a guitar enthusiast, playing both acoustic and electric, as well as having a passion for the instruments themselves. Although he is sitting opposite fellow enthusiast Mark Cartwright they have no plans to turn their back on tax and form a duo as yet!

After a few days settling himself in at our offices, Alex reflected:

“The thing that appeals most to me is connecting with all those innovative companies that play such an important role in driving the UK economy forward.  I’m looking forward to working alongside my new colleagues who have made me feel very welcome in the short time I have been here.”

Simon Brown, the Managing Director, welcomed Alex:

“It is a pleasure to welcome Alex Price to the firm. Alex brings a different skillset to my management and tax team that will complement the talent we already have, he’ll be a key driver of the next stages of our development.”
